While we can't say with any degree of certainty what it was for, we can say that it wasn't constructed for any casual purpose. The stones we see today represent Stonehenge in ruin. In its day, the construction of Stonehenge was an impressive engineering feat, requiring commitment, time and vast amounts of manual labor. Our 1/100 scale replica on the other hand can be completed in just 4 hours with the help of our very detailed model kit, which shows how this monumental circular setting of large standing stones might have looked in prehistoric times. The size of the paper replica when assembled is 13-1/2" x 3" and this is a wonderfully detailed model made of sheets of precisely printed, light stone-colored cardboard pieces. The kit includes detailed instructions and self-explanatory 3D diagrams. It is fun and easy to build and takes about 4 hours to complete. Minimal tools are required - just a knife, glue and some patience. The scoring and cutting pattern is printed on the front of each piece and the finished model is quite durable and makes an beautiful and intricate keepsake.
